At ViaIP we know a good cause when we see one. For that reason, for the whole month of November our entire staff will be participating in the Movember Australia movement. The Movember fundraiser is an International event that works to raise money for research on depression and prostate Cancer.

With this year’s Movember movement you can help us to support this great cause, by supporting the MO Bro’s (and sista’s) at ViaIP in growing their own MO!

No idea what we’re talking about? That’s okay we’ll tell you. Here’s the deal:

1. One out of every nine men in Australia will develop prostate cancer.

2. One in six people will suffer with depression.

In other words when you walk the street, when you go to work, or when you’re just out for your weekly shopping trip – look around; it’s very likely that you’ll see many people who suffer from one of these serious illnesses. Could it be someone you know? Your brother? Could it be you?

Early diagnosis and treatment is the key to helping those who suffer from depression or prostate cancer. Working with the Australia Cancer Foundation, and other participating research facilities around the world, the Movemeber movement works to support both causes. The answer is out there, but to find it the Movember foundation needs funds!

Last year’s fundraiser saw 134,171 Mo bro’s and sista’s worldwide. The 2007 movement raised over $21,000,000 for medical research.
